When it comes to blog-reading, if there’s anything I love more than a good laugh, it’s a good cry. Don’t you just love posts that make you cry? The tearjerkers, the heartwrenchers; the stories that inspire you, move you, leave you in awe of another person’s courage or generosity of spirit?
I thought it might be fun to try something new here at The Lilting House. I would like to invite you to share the posts that have touched your heart during the past week. You can use the nifty Mr. Linky widget below to enter the URLs. It’s fine to enter your own post; if you’ve written something lovely, please don’t be too shy to share!
Here’s how we’ll work it: Where it says "Your name" in the widget below, enter the name of the post, followed by the blog title in parentheses. Like this:
A Promise Delayed (Cottage Blessings).
Then enter the post URL in the next box. Make sure you use the post’s permalink, not the main blog address. Like this:
http://alice.typepad.com/cottage_blessings/2007/03/ a_promise_delay.html
Not just this: http://alice.typepad.com/
(For Blogger blogs, you can get to the permalink by clicking on the time stamp beneath the post.)
And if you have entered someone else’s post, please leave us a comment letting us know whom to thank for passing along the beauty!
I’ll enter a few to get the ball rolling…

These come from Cheeky Lotus, I hope she doesn’t mind. They come from the “I confess” section of her page.
These aren’t extremely recent, but she has so much heart and is so real that I couldn’t resist. It’s incredible to see someone open herself up to the world like that.

From Cheeky Lotus to me to you!
My #1 favorite post was by this incredible woman with this amazingly joy filled life….

There, hopefully this link will work.
Jennifer, you are too kind. Thank you! :::blushing:::
Lynn, thanks for the links. Can’t wait to check them out. I am still futzing with the Mr. Linky thing. Hope to have it working soon!

I just had to add this one. Sorry!
Jennifer
Ha! Jennifer beat me to it – “March 22nd” was the post I was going to add 🙂
7 and 8 were mine.
Well, we blog mainly on grief and loss issues, so it was a challenge to pick out a specific link – but we shared one (number 11)
I left Alice’s “Cornucopia” post. I go to this whenever I get overwhelmed and simply need a humble reminder to be grateful, pray for God’s will, and just do the best I can.
First and foremost, thank you for those links, Lissa–you are, as always, too kind to me!
I see everyone has nominated March 22 already, so I’ve just included Broken from Blessed Among Men (number 14, above). It’s a beauty.
There are a few other posts in my mind, and I hope to return later to add them.
Great idea!
Thank you, Suzanne!!!
Number 18 was added by me. And thank you to whoever put my post here.
I added number 19. That one’s still haunting me long after I read it.
Hi,
I posted numbers 21 & 22. My husband and I have adopted our children and I agree completely with Kristen: “To think it is possible that we could have bore children “naturally” and not known these two miracles makes me shudder.”
