I’m pretty sure that’s a rule of childhood, right? My poor little Wonderboy. He took a tumble at the playground this afternoon—just running, that’s all—on sand, no less—and knocked out a front tooth. Sand! Not concrete!
He’s fine now, didn’t even cry that much once we cleaned up all the blood. Nosebleed too! Blood blood blood! And that gaping hole in front, the very same sort of hole that looks adorable on a six-year-old. Why does it look so tragic on a three-year-old?
Oh No!! I’m so sorry. We are well versed in tooth incidents here, as you know. And now Ellie has two sparkling whites right in front that came in all on their own, despite the dire predictions. She shattered her one tooth on a small, PLASTIC trash can (wasn’t even running, just tripped into it), so I can believe it. Glad he knocked it out so at least you don’t have to play the “should we or shouldn’t we (pull it)” game. Big hug to you and the Boy.
Oh! Poor little guy! I’m sorry.
Oh, poor baby! Anne is sitting here with me and said, “We’ve never had tooth incidents!” (But now she’s remembering when Betsy’s tooth fell down the sink drain — that was more of a tooth fairy incident, though.) 😉
Hope it isn’t bothering him. It does look tragic on such a little one.
Poor baby! I can’t believe sand could do that to a tooth!
*kisses wonderboy on the cheek*
*whispers: oh, honey!*
We had a two teeth out incident with a sled two years back. Oh the horrors! Oh the blood! And the sad, sad effect on the poor child’s visage.
Thank goodness it is a baby tooth!
How does that happen in sand?!!! Poor little guy! Poor Mommy! I, too, want to see him now. I loved the “ear mold chronicles”!
