But these…oh, I am smitten. Both with the adorable sneaks and the clever makeover.
Followed the link to Rockin’ Granola from Like Merchant Ships. Meredith has a good many other nifty links in that post…I especially liked the little jars of ocean at Green Bean Boutique.
And from Rockin’ Granola, I followed Kara’s link to another new-to-me blog, Angry Chicken, where discovered its companion blog, Tie One On, and swooned over the chicken-scratch apron.
Angry Chicken’s piece about toys is, as Kara noted, well worth a read.
I’m almost wishing my little one HAD dirty shoes just so I could get started with the shoe painting!
I know! I was thinking the same thing! We’ve got a big box of outgrown shoes…I’m wondering if there’s anything in there I can “refashion” (to use Kara’s word) for Rilla. 🙂
Or maybe (she returns to add) it’s time to pick up some cheap canvas sneakers for myself…heh heh. I could go for some polka dots right about now.
Good Morning Ms. Wiley! I’ve got a post up at my website in honor of you today. Thanks for all that you did to spread the Little House adventures to a new generation of readers!
PS I must appologize in advance that Ingells has an improper ‘s in it. I’m a novice blogger and can’t figure out how to properly edit the posts yet.
A Chicken Scratch apron was the first thing my 4-H Leader (otherwise known as Mom) had me make! The gingham makes it all so very easy for novices.
