I’d been told that when we lived in Germany. That’s what the German women do when their children get stung…rub a raw onion, cut in half, along the sting. Apparently it takes the stinger out, as well as alleviating the pain, but I don’t know how it would.
Well, I’ll be adding onions to the market list for tomorrow ~ we seem to have a bit of a wasp issue in our backyard … Thanks for the tip, Lissa!
