Jane comes home from nature studies camp, soot-streaked and beaming.

Jane, jubilantly: “We made FIRES!”

What is it about fire? My brother-in-law does a bonfire with the kids every Thanksgiving, and that always seems to be the thing they’re most thankful for. 🙂
